As a major contractor, McLaren is aware of the considerable impact that our works have on the communities that we work within. We are committed to mitigating this through collaboration with client bodies, project stakeholders, our supply chain and the wider general public.

We take our duties as a good neighbour seriously. All of our projects are registered under the Considerate Constructors Scheme in order to obtain an independant, objective review of our performance. This allows our senior management team to have a clear understanding of our performance at delivery level and ensure that our culture and procedures remain customer focused and sensitive to all areas of society. Our acheivement of an average score in excess of 33 during 2010, with a number of projects acheiving 36 or more demonstrates our continued improvement in this area.
