Situated immediately above Archway underground station, Archway Tower, a former public office building constructed in the 1960’s, has been converted into private apartments over 17 storeys.
The cut and carve construction consisted of a reinforced concrete (RC) frame and extensive envelope refurbishment, including the installation of a new cladding system. The internal areas have been refurbished to a B1 fit out standard.
The 94,400 sq ft scheme, also known as Vantage Point, now operates as a residential apartment block with 118 studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments exclusively for rental use over floors 1-15. In addition, shared amenity space is located on both the 16th and 17th floors and other facilities provided include concierge, club room, rooftop communal terraces and winter garden, storage rooms and parking.
The scheme, one of the country’s biggest office to residential conversions, achieved its target of a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ status.
