The brand new 30,000m2 development by Bericote Properties, is close to the car maker’s landmark home at Goodwood, West Sussex, located on the Oldlands Farm Business Park on the northern edge of Bognor Regis.

Appointed on 22 September 2014, McLaren began work immediately on the Technology and Logistics Centre which included the design and construction of two Logistic Facilities comprising single storey steel frame buildings, state of the art facades and integral administration accommodation. Extensive, challenging works included raising existing ground levels to lift the building out of the flood plain alongside a new flood compensation scheme being introduced to the area.

David Murphy, Southern Regional Managing Director, McLaren Construction said: “ Bericote Properties are a very important customer of McLaren and we are delighted that we were appointed on such a prestigious project and successfully delivered the scheme on time and to the expected quality . We look forward to carrying on a successful relationship going forward on many schemes to come.”

Lee Pettit, Commercial Director, Bericote Properties added: “This project further demonstrates McLaren’s dedication to successfully deliver major projects to the same high industry standards Bericote have demanded throughout our long-standing relationship and we look forward to working with them on future opportunities.”

The facility is part of the ‘Enterprise Bognor Regis’ initiative, which looks to develop the town and the surrounding area as a new premier business location in West Sussex.
