McLaren is enhancing the management team, as company continues to grow from strength to strength.

McLaren Construction Group Plc are delighted to announce its £4.1 million profit for year ending 31st July 2016 with a corresponding turnover of £481 million. The turnover sees a healthy increase from £378 million in 2015. The company’s year to date revenue has already increased by £60 million, with the anticipated turnover for this year to be over £600 million.

Our recent reorganisation into regions has created a solid base for this growth, specifically high rise residential, education, and manufacturing and logistics.

McLaren Construction has also confirmed the appointment of Dave Smith, who will be taking on the role of Managing Director – Construction. Dave, previously the Chief Operating Officer at Wates, joins McLaren in April.

The McLaren Management team also sees changes, with David Murphy promoted to Managing Director – Distribution and Mixed Use, who will also look after the Midlands & North Divisions. David Murphy will be supported in the South region by David Gavin, who has been promoted to Regional Director.

The McLaren Construction Group Plc new Main Board will comprise of David Murphy, Dave Smith, Maurice Archer (Group Commercial Director) and Craig Young (Group Finance Director), led by Chairman Kevin Taylor and supported by Phil Pringle, who will now takes the position of Group Executive Director.

Kevin Taylor, Chairman commented: “McLaren will benefit considerably from an appointment of Dave Smith’s calibre. We are looking to enhance our business moving forward, as we are now on the cusp of being a Top 10 UK contractor. To take us to the next level, we need to further enhance our excellent team, and Dave will add that.”

Phil Pringle added: “We are delighted with our performance over the last 18 months, which gives us the platform to make this key appointment, in addition to the promotion of David Murphy and David Gavin.’’
