McLaren Construction are pleased to announce the successful completion of Morrisons 500th store in Hoddesdon. The store officially opened for business on Monday 2nd December at 9am.

McLaren were originally appointed by The Tower Centre Hoddesdon for the demolition of an existing shopping centre to create the shell and core for a new food store for Morrisons PLC, including a new under croft car park, new surface level car park, external works and extensive remodelling to the existing road infrastructure in Hoddesdon. From this, McLaren were then awarded the fit out of the new store by Morrisons.

David Murphy, Director of McLaren Construction commented: “McLaren are very proud to have constructed Morrisons’ 500th Store in Hoddesdon and we look forward to continuing our long standing relationship with Morrisons by ensuring we successfully deliver a quality project on time and to budget.”

Earlier this year McLaren Construction also completed two new Morrisons stores in Blyth, Northumberland and Bedford and have recently been awarded the Morrisons fit out in Crawley after successfully completing the shell and core works for the new store.
