Attracting the next generation of talent to McLaren

At McLaren, we’re committed to developing the next generation of leaders through various recruitment channels. We advertise apprenticeship opportunities on the Government Gateway portal, ensuring a streamlined and accessible application process. We also offer work experience and T-Level placements, providing students with hands-on exposure to the industry.

Work Experience

We want to provide meaningful and enriching work experience placements. Our goal is to ensure that these placements provide real learning opportunities and practical experiences across various departments and support functions.

T-Levels

T-Levels are a two-year Level 3 qualification for students aged 16-19, equivalent to 3 A Levels. These placements offer an opportunity to gain practical experience and develop the skills needed for a successful career.

Daniel, who joined us for a 2024 work experience placement with Sustainability, said:

“Completing my work experience at McLaren has given me a great understanding and first-hand insight into the construction industry. This experience is invaluable and will be beneficial when applying for future apprenticeships.”

We partner with organisations like the Construction Youth Trust and The Amber Foundation to help us to reach a diverse pool of talented individuals. These combined efforts ensure we attract and develop the best talent to drive the future of construction.
