At the event, McLaren sponsored the Young Player of the Season Award.
Our chairman, Kevin Taylor, had the pleasure of presenting the award to midfielder James Maddison, who has just completed an impressive first season at the club, his first playing in the Premier League.
The number 10 player scored seven goals and created seven more during the 2018-19 season.
McLaren is building the club’s new, world-class training centre at Charnwood. The state-of-the-art facility will offer 26 outdoor pitches and training areas, plus a full-size indoor artificial pitch. The main building accommodates 35 bedrooms, rehabilitation facilities and dining areas for the club’s academy and first team, as well as a media centre.
The centre is set to complete mid 2020.
